Description of the site: The Piazza del Duomo of Pisa is one of the most famous places of Italy because it has the Torre di Pisa. It's a very beautiful landscape. I have been twice and it's always full of people. We can see a lot of grass, the famous inclinated tower and the cathedral of Pisa.

What kind of UWHS is it?

CULTURAL SITE: Standing in a large green expanse, Piazza del Duomo houses a group of monuments known the world over. These four masterpieces of medieval architecture – the cathedral, the baptistry, the campanile (the 'Leaning Tower') and the cemetery – had a great influence on monumental art in Italy from the 11th to the 14th century.

What kind of UWHS is it?

NATURAL SITE: The landscape in this park, situated in south-west New Zealand, has been shaped by successive glaciations into fjords, rocky coasts, towering cliffs, lakes and waterfalls. Two-thirds of the park is covered with southern beech and podocarps, some of which are over 800 years old. The kea, the only alpine parrot in the world, lives in the park, as does the rare and endangered takahe, a large flightless bird.

The week before Easter I went to Italy with my school to do the end-of-year trip.

This photo was taken in Pisa, it was the first day in Italy. This day, we took the bus very early in the morning to go to the airport of Barcelona. We took the plane in the morning, we land in Genova and in the midday we had already arrive in Pisa. We had stayed little time there, we only had time to have lunch in a McDonald's and to take some photos in the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The street next to the tower was full of stalls.

In the photo I'm with my friend Pau. We both wear sunglasses because it was a sunny day. In the background, there is the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. We look happy although we were tired, because it had just started the end-of-year trip.

I am finishing an important stage of my life. I think that the four years of ESO are full of changes, because we grow up and everyone does it in they own way. In these years I had done a lot of friends, some of them only temporary and some others continues in my life.

1st of ESO was an strange year. All was new, I had met a lot of people and my marks lowered a little bit compared to primary school. The 2nd year was the best of my life. My class was very united, there weren't almost groups and in general, I had a great time. It was the best year with difference. Because of this, in 3rd of ESO the class changed completely. All the teachers said that our class was the worst one, so my classmates and I had to separate. My marks decreased quitely, because I was a little bit clueless and all the subjects were more dificult than the last year. Finally, this year had been a hard one. A lot of people told me that it was going to be easy, but although I have strived more, the marks are not like I expected. The musical and the trip to Italy have done it a good year.

Although now I think that the ESO is a torture, I know that what comes is even worse and I'm going to miss my school, my classmates and even my teachers.

1. I have visited 3 countries in a day: last summer, I did a trip with my familiy. We took the car to arrive to Netherlands, so we took advantge of that we had to go through France and Belgium to visit them.It was an exhausted day. In my opinion, the best one was Netherland because the people of there were very nice.
2. I fell of a human tower: It has happened more than once, but the most important one was from a 7d7 (7 floors). Some people had hurt and they have to go to the hospital, but I only hurt my back a little bit. It was the most difficult one we had tried ever.
3. I did a part of Camino de Santiago: About three summers ago, I went to a summer camp in Euskadi. I enjoyed it a mot, a did a lot of friends and I saw beautiful landscapes of Euskadi, between Irun and Bilbao.

1. I haven't been in Asia: One of my dreams is to go to some country in Asia, like Thailand, India or The Phillipines. It's difficult to get it because of the price of the flights, but I would love to go there some day, everyone seems very happy there.
2. I haven't jumped on a parachute: I have always thought that the parachute jumping has to give a lot of adrenaline, and I love the adrenaline. It's a way of feeling that you are flying so I want to do it.
3. I haven't got a tatto: I love tattos since I was little but I haven't got anyone. I don't know how it will be yet but at first, at the end of the year, when I am 16, I will already have my first tatto.

Eye level shot: in this photo we can see Will of the serie "Stranger Things" crying. We only see his face.

 

Aerial shot: this photo is from Santorini, a beautiful island of Greek. You can see a big part of the island in the evening from the sky.

 

Close up shot: this is a photo of a very cute dog. We can only see his nose and his eyes at the background because of the close up shot. 

 

Long shot: this photo is from the Egyptian Pyramids with a man in a camel. It's a calid photo that shows a beautiful landscape.

 

Medium shot: this is a strange photo because we can see a lion, that is a big and dangerous animal, with a little goat, that is a small and innocent farm animal. The photo is tooked from a normal distance.

 

Wide shot: it's a photo of a girl playing golf in a golf course. We see the girl and all the couse. This photo is tooked in such a way that the course seems bigger.

 

Two shot: in this photo we can see Augustus and Hazel of the film "The Fault in our Stars" talking. It shows the two people with the same importance.

 

Point of view: the last photo it's very powerful. It shows what a parkour boy see. He is hanging from a very high place and we can see his feet and the floor.

MY NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION

MY NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION - 2019

1. Be punctual always: to keep this resolution I have to organize the time and leave home soon. I haven't to get distracted with everything.
2. Get my secundary school studies: It's not very difficult but I have to study and make an efford until the school year finish.
3. Be fit: I do volleyball three times a week but I have to have a routine of exercices to do every day. I can start slowly and go up day by day. There are some apps that I can download in my smartphone.
4. Save money: I use to spend a lot of money with things I don't really need, and I had always wanted to save money but I don't know how to do it. I have to hide some of my money and if I want that money I have to wait.
5. Take advantage of the summer: In summer I use to sleep all the morning and I use to watch series or films all night when I don't go partying with my friends. I won't have 16 years old yet, so I won't have a job yet.  I want to enjoy this summer a lot going to the beach, going partying, doing trips with my friends...

Airplane Crashes in 2018

In 2018, there were 15 airliner accidents around the world, and 556 people died. The experts say that it wasn't a bad year and they are improving. But, in 2017, there were only 44 dead people in 10 accidents, it was the safest year ever.

In my opinion, the victims in the airliner accidents should be zero. They say that they get better year by year, but in 2018 there were more dead people than in 2017.

Dog Adopts Piglets

Linda is a dog of Playa Larga, in Cuba. She has six pups and now a litter of piglets too. The mother of the piglets died and she adopt them. At first she was unsure, because the babies maybe couldn't stay together, but then she saw that they could live together and she fed them with milk like her own pups.

I think that the dog is the clever animal in the world and it's really cute and nice what Linda do.

Hundreds of popular cars ‘at risk of keyless theft’

Some of new cars have new technologies like keyless, but keyless cars use to be more theft than the others. Thives use technology to bypass entry systems on this cars, and the fanufacturers continue making this cars. In the UK there's only one secure car of the top-selling cars, the Vauxhall Corsa. The experts say that this new cars are very secure, but it's not true. They investigated and they see that there are only 3 cars of the 237 keyless cars, the Discovery and Range Rover, and the 2018 Jaguar i-Pace (all made by Jaguar Land Rover).

MY HERO

My hero is my older sister, Abril. She was born two years before me and she's studying in the same school than me. 

Since we were little we have always done the same activities and we have the same hobbies. When she was little she started to play volleyball and a year later I started to play volleyball too, because she was always teaching me. Then, five years ago we started together doing human towers. This two activities are our passions now. 

She has some important values that I love. She has a lot of honesty because she tells me everything. She is very optimist and it helps me when I feel sad, she tries to cheer me up. But I think that the most important values she has are the respect and the fairness. 
In this photo she's the girl in the right, and the girl who's in the middle is our cousin. This photo was in the wedding of our aunt.

MY FAVOURITE HORROR MOVIE

SATANIC

I love horror movies since last year and I've seen a lot of them. But my favourite one is Satanic because it scared me a lot and I like the argument of the film.

A group of four university students go to Los Angeles to a road trip. They are in a strange neighbourhood. They go into a satanic shop and they follow the worker of the shop when it closes. The boy goes to a satanic ritual with more people that wear a tunic. Those people swear at a young girl. This girl go to the appartment of the protagonists, and she kills herself. During the film they always see a kind of satanic symbol, like a star. Finally, they leave the city in the night by car, but on the way they see Chloe, the girl who is driving the car, in the top of an abandoned building. They go into the building, and the devil kill the four friends.

The best moment of the film is when Chloe is in the top of the building and they see she and their friends in the car, looking at her. This scene impressed me a lot and it put me goosebumps.

My best abilities are bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal and intrapersonal and musical for equal. I'm agree with the bodily-kinesthetic because I like sports. I think that I'm good at the relations with other people but I'm bad at the intrapesonal relation. I don't understand why the stick of music is so long, I'm not agree of that because I don't know anything about music. The worst abilities are naturalistic and linguistic, I hate all related with nature but I think that I'm not bad in languages, It's true that I don't like reading or writing but I'm good at languages.
